Iraqi government
The government of Iraq has been a republican government since 1958 and a federal federal government since 2004.
However, the system of government changed several times between a presidential republic (1963–2003) and a parliamentary republic (1958–1963 and since 2004), the office of prime minister did not exist at all between 1968 and 1991 and between 1994 and 2003 and during this time the president was a state and head of government at the same time.
