The Iran Combine Manufacturing Company (ICM) is the largest combine maker in the Middle East based in Arak .
history
Iran Combine Manufacturing Co. was founded in 1969 under the name Jansaz (Ltd) and registered in the same year. The company started producing agricultural machinery with a capacity of 20,000 tons per year.
In 1970 the company was sold to a consortium led by the American company John Deere . It eventually changed its name to "Iran John Deere". In 1982, however, the company's ownership was converted to common stock.
Operations
In 2008 the managing director of Iran Combine Manufacturing announced that China had announced its readiness to set up a joint venture in the company.
ICM products have been exported to China since 1984. Since then, the company's sales network has expanded to include Kazakhstan , Tajikistan , Pakistan , Afghanistan , Iraq , Uzbekistan , Zimbabwe , Spain and Venezuela .
