Irene Andres-Suarez

Irene Andres-Suárez (born July 17, 1948 in Vegarienza ( León )) is a Spanish Hispanist .

Andres-Suárez graduated in Spanish Philology 1974 at the University of Oviedo with the licentiate from. In 1982 she completed her doctorate summa cum laude with Luis López Molina at the University of Geneva with a thesis on Ignacio Aldecoa .

She has been Professor of Spanish Literature at the University of Neuchâtel since 1992 . She published books on contemporary Spanish literature.
