Irene greeting
Irene Gruss (born August 31, 1950 in Buenos Aires ; † December 25, 2018 there ) was an Argentine poet .
Gruss began studying medicine at the Universidad de La Plata and medicine and literature at the University of Buenos Aires . She worked in the editorial offices of the literary magazines El escarabajo de oro , El ornitorrinco and El juguete rabioso . Together with Lucina Álvarez , Daniel Freidemberg , Rubén Reches , Jorge Aulicino , Alicia Genovese , Leonor García Hernando , Marcelo Cohen and others, she took part in the poetry workshop "Mario Jorge de Lellis". Her first poems appeared a. a. in the magazines La opinión , Tiempo argentino , Clarín , La Nación and La Capital .
From 1982 she published her own volumes of poetry, and since 1986 she has also organized poetry workshops.
