Iridium (III) hydroxide is a chemical compound of iridium from the group of hydroxides .
Extraction and presentation
From iridium (III) chloride solutions with alkali lye, the greenish iridium (III) hydroxide is obtained, which when heated is black, which easily oxidizes to blue tetravalent oxide in air.
