Irina Vsevolodovna Meyerhold
Irina Vsevolodowna Meyerhold ( Russian Ирина Всеволодовна Мейерхольд ; born May 9, 1905 in Penza ; † November 21, 1981 in Leningrad ) was a Soviet actress, acting teacher and theater director. In 1978 she was awarded by the Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic .
Irina Meyerhold was a daughter of Wsewolod Meyerhold and Olga Munt. She was married to the actor Vasily Merkurjew (1904–1978). Her son Pyotr Merkurjew (1943-2010) also became an actor.
