The Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts is an art museum on the Stanford University campus . It was initiated in 1891 as the Stanford University Museum of Art by Leland Stanford and his wife Jane.

You can see works of art, divided into 24 galleries, including works by Jackson Pollock , Mark Rothko , Ad Reinhardt and Willem de Kooning . Outside there is a sculpture wall by Andy Goldsworthy .

The highlight of the museum is the sculpture garden with u. a. 20 bronze sculptures by Auguste Rodin , the University of Stanford after the Rodin Museum in Paris and the Rodin Museum in Philadelphia makes the world's third-largest Rodinsammlung.
