Irma Benčić
Irma Benčić († February 28 or March 1, 1945 in Businia near Cittanova d'Istria ) was a Croatian - Italian resistance fighter against fascism . It was in the German Reich occupied Operational Zone of the Adriatic Littoral as well as her father Anton Benčić and out on the night of March 1, 1945 Albona originating Partisan Antun Ruzic shot.
In Novigrad , a bust in the park named after her at the port commemorates Irma Benčić.
