Irmgard Hutter

Irmgard Hutter , née Hugenbusch (* 20th century ), is a German-Austrian art historian . Her specialty are late antiquity and Byzantine art.

In 1957 she married the art historian Heribert Hutter . Irmgard Hutter studied art history at the University of Vienna , where she received her doctorate in 1970 under Otto Demus . With Otto Demus she edited the corpus of Byzantine miniature manuscripts, the five volumes of which she edited. She also wrote a volume and, with her husband, was the author of the final volume of the Bels style history .
