The Ecknach flows through Irschenhofen .

The village is about two kilometers north of Adelzhausen on State Road 2338 .

history

With the second community edict of May 17, 1818 Irschenhofen was assigned to the community of Heretshausen .

On April 1, 1972, as part of the municipal reorganization of Bavaria, the municipality of Heretshausen and Irschenhofen were incorporated into Adelzhausen.
