Isaac Julien
Isaac Julien (born February 21, 1960 in London ) is a British artist , film producer and university lecturer .
Life
After leaving school, Julien studied painting and film at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design , from which he graduated in 1984. After graduation, he founded Sankofa Film and Video Collective and was a founding member of Normal Films in 1999 . He made several films in the following years.
From 2009 to 2015 Julien was a professor at the State University of Design in Karlsruhe .
