Isabel Le Bourdais
Isabel Le Bourdais (born April 15, 1909 , † 2003 ) was a Canadian journalist and miscarriage of justice .
Le Bourdais went to Havergal College and then attended the University of Toronto , but dropped out in 1929 to marry Stephen Dale, whom she divorced four years later. She became a social activist and joined the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation (CCF). In 1942 she married the writer and CCF politician Don LeBourdais . Her book The trial of Steven Truscott (German translation by Brigitte Weitbrecht : Is Steven Truscott a murderer? ) Published in 1966 helped to clarify the Steven Truscott case.
