Isabella de Beauchamp († around May 30, 1306 ) was an English noblewoman.

Isabella came from the Beauchamp family . She was the eldest daughter of William de Beauchamp, 9th Earl of Warwick and his wife Maud de Furnivall , the eldest daughter of John Fitz Geoffrey . Her first marriage was before 1281 Patrick de Chaworth , who had become Lord of the Welsh rule Kidwelly after the death of his brother Payn in 1279 . After her husband died in 1283, however, she married Hugh le Despenser, 2nd Baron Despenser , who was still a little noble at the time , in 1285 . Despenser had only got back the possessions of his father of the same name, Hugh le Despenser, 1st Baron le Despenser , who died in 1265 in the fight against the king in 1265 . The marriage took place without the required permission from King Edward I , so that her husband was sentenced to a fine of 2,000 marks . Her husband was appointed to a parliament by the king in 1295 as Baron Despenser . She died in 1306 before her husband and son Hugh made careers as favorites of King Edward II .

From her first marriage she had a daughter:

They had several children from their second marriage, including:

  1. Gilbert de Clare, Lord of Thomond
  2. John Hastings, 1st Baron Hastings
  3. Ralph de Monthermer, 1st Baron Monthermer
