Isadora Cerullo

Isadora "Izzy" Cerullo (born March 24, 1991 ) is a Brazilian - American rugby seven player .

Life

Cerullo grew up in Raleigh , North Carolina with three siblings. She later emigrated to Brazil with her parents. By 2009 she attended William G. Enloe High School and studied medicine at Columbia University in the United States. At the Pan American Games in Toronto in 2015 , she won the bronze medal with her rugby team. At the 2016 Summer Olympics , Cerullo was part of the Brazilian Olympic rugby team.

On the sidelines, her partner Marjorie Enya proposed to her at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
