The Isingufsa ( Norwegian for [sic!] Freezing Cliff ) is a cliff in Queen Maud Land, East Antarctica . In the Sverdrupfjella it forms the north-eastern part of the Isingen massif .
The first aerial photographs were taken during the German Antarctic Expedition (1938–1939) under the direction of Alfred Ritscher . Norwegian cartographers, who also named the cliff, mapped it using aerial photographs and surveys of the Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition (1949–1952) and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
