The Isla San Gabriel is in the Río de la Plata located Uruguayan island.

The approximately 24 hectare island is located about 3 km from San Pedro near Colonia del Sacramento . On the northern side of Isla San Gabriel, which is overgrown with trees, there is a small cement pier, which allows boats with up to 1.5 m draft to anchor there.

On December 28, 1995, it was declared a National Park ( Parque Nacional ) by law ( Ley ) 15,939 . In December 2005, together with Isla Farallón, it was named the Monumento Histórico Nacional .
