The Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland ( ICCI ; Islamic Cultural Center of Ireland, Irish Ionad Cultúrtha Ioslamach na hÉireann ) with its mosque is located in Clonskeagh, a suburb of Dublin , Ireland . Its director is Nooh Al-Kaddo (born in 1953 in Mosul , Iraq ), who moved from Liverpool to Dublin in 1997 to run the Islamic Center. The Irish Times According to the Center about 20 employees, mostly of Arab descent, the full-time employee who has al-Maktoum Foundation are. The foundation is named after Muhammad bin Raschid Al Maktum , the ruler of the Emirate of Dubai , who was present at the official opening of the cultural center on November 16, 1996 together with President Mary Robinson . The headquarters of the International Union of Muslim Scholars under Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi was at the ICCI before he moved to Qatar . The European Council for Fatwa and Research (ECFR) has its seat here. The Imam of the ICCI, Sheikh Hussein Mohammed Halawa , is the Secretary General of the ECFR.

The center is also home to the Muslim National School and the Libyan School in Ireland .
