The Islote Ayala ( Spanish ) is a tiny rock island off the Fallières coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . In Neny Bay , it is about 100 m west-northwest of Beaumont Island .
Scientists from the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947) named them after Arturo Ayala Arce (1928–2010), a member of the delegation of the Chilean army on board the ship Angamos on this research trip .
