Islote Riofrío ( Spanish ; in Argentina Islote Sara ) is a snow-covered island off the Danco coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 2.6 km west of Pelletan Point in the Bay of Flanders .

Chilean scientists named it after Enrique Riofrío Cooke of the Chilean Army , a participant in the 12th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1957-1958). The background of the Argentine naming is not known.
