Filipa César (* 1975 in Porto ) is a Portuguese artist and filmmaker .

Professional background

Filipa César studied art at the University of Porto and Lisbon , where she received her diploma in 1999. In 2008 she passed the master's examination in the field of "Art in Context" at the University of the Arts Berlin (UdK). César lives and works in Lisbon and Berlin .

She was a scholarship holder at the Villa Concordia in Bamberg (2010/11) and at the Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral in Bad Ems.
