Ismail Assad (born December 21, 1987 ) is an Algerian cyclist .
In 2007, Ismail Assad won the third stage of the Tour of Libya to Bani Walid with the Algerian national team and on the seventh and final section to Tripoli he finished second behind the Egyptian Mohamed Abdel Aziz . The next year he was second in the Tour of Libya again, this time on the sixth section to Ghiryan behind the German Janusch Laule .
