ispCP ( Internet Service Provider Control Panel ) was a project with the goal of developing a multi-server management and administration tool. The first step was the release of ispCP Omega (formerly called VHCS Omega ), a fork of the VHCS project, which can also be updated.

The biggest difference to VHCS is probably the actual implementation of the community idea - the entire development was, as we know from other open source projects, open. From this some technical differences have already developed, such as the support of PHP as FastCGI instead of mod_php (which among other things also allows the operation of Apache HTTP Server 2.2 with the mpm-worker module ) and many other improvements in the area of security.

ispCP is no longer being developed. Fork is I-mscp . The official website has been without content since April 2015.

Supported Platforms

ispCP runs under the popular Linux distributions CentOS , Debian , Fedora , Gentoo Linux , openSUSE , Red Hat Linux and Ubuntu . It can also run on FreeBSD and OpenBSD . With a few manual interventions, but without official support, ispCP can also be made executable under other Linux and BSD distributions.
