Issei Ōtake ( Japanese 大竹 壱 青 , Ōtake Issei ; born December 3, 1995 in Kawasaki ) is a Japanese volleyball player .
Career
Ōtake began his career at Chūō University in Tokyo . In 2017 he took part in the world league with the Japanese national team. In October of the same year he moved to the German Bundesliga club United Volleys Rhein-Main . In the 2017/18 season he reached the semifinals with the club in the DVV Cup and in the Bundesliga playoffs . At the 2018 World Cup , he was eliminated with Japan in the first group stage. Then he switched to the Japanese champion Panasonic Panthers. In 2019 he took part in the Nations League .
