The Issoire APM 50 Nala is a two-seat light aircraft produced by the French manufacturer Issoire Aviation . It was at the Paris Air Show at the Le Bourget airport presented, 2013.

The APM 50 Nala is a two - seater low - wing aircraft with a nose wheel landing gear that is designed for use as an aerobatic trainer . The aircraft is made entirely of GRP and is based on the APM 40 Simba . The fuselage was taken over unchanged. The wings have been modified and allow a taxiing speed of 150 degrees per second. The engine has a Lycoming IO-360 with an output of 180 PS (132 kW ). At a cruising speed of 150 kn (278 km / h) it has a range of 525 NM (972 km).
Versions
The APM 51 Cheelaar is the military version of the APM 50. It can be equipped with a missile system and used for surveillance missions (coastal or border surveillance), humanitarian measures (air drop), transport and for the training and education of pilots.
