Isuzu Philippines
The Isuzu Philippines Corporation ( IPC for short ) is an automobile , commercial vehicle and bus manufacturer and dealer with headquarters in Biñan , ( Laguna Province ) in the Philippines . It is a joint venture between Isuzu , Mitsubishi (each 35%), Ayala Corporation and Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (each 15%).
history
Isuzu trucks have been exported to the Philippines since 1950. Isuzu founded GM Philippines in 1972 together with General Motors . In 1989, Isuzu Motor Pilipinas was established as a full subsidiary. Founded Isuzu Philippines Corporation in August 1995. In 1997, the production line was inaugurated.
Production in 2017 amounted to 16,700 copies while a total of 30,000 vehicles were sold.
The Isuzu Autoparts Manufacturing Corporation , founded in 1996, is located at the same location and produces gearboxes and produced around 177,000 units in 2017.
Models
The models produced initially included the Isuzu Trooper , the TF and the Hi-Lander , which was replaced by the Crosswind in 2001 . The Isuzu D-Max followed the TF in 2003 .
The new generation of the D-MAX has been manufactured since 2013.
