Takami Itō
Takami Itō ( Japanese 伊藤 た か み , Itō Takami ; born April 5, 1971 in Kobe ) is a Japanese writer.
Itō studied politics and economics at Waseda University . For his debut novel Joshuseki nite, guruguru - dansu o odotte , he received the 1995 award from Bungei magazine . His book Mika! was awarded a children's book prize in 2000. In 2006, Itō received two prizes: the Jōji Hirata Literature Prize for Gibson and the Akutagawa Prize for Hachigatsu no rojō ni suteru . Itō is married to the writer Kakuta Mitsuyo and lives in Tokyo.
