The Volpino Italiano is an Italian breed of dog recognized by the FCI ( FCI Group 5, Section 4, Standard No. 195 ).

Small (up to 30 cm), typical looking Spitz . The Volpino Italiano developed in Italy and differs from other Spitz breeds with a more domed skull and longer ears. His hair is always straight, long, straight, which makes the dog appear very voluminous, in white or red; He is not liked in champagne color. The ears are small, triangular, erect. His tail is always carried rolled up on his back.
