Itchak Radashkovich ( Russian Исаак Радашкович / Issaak Radaschkowitsch; born July 4, 1947 in Leningrad ) is an Israeli chess player.

Life

Radashkovich began his chess career in a pioneer house and later became a member of the Leningrad youth selection. After attending school, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Precision Mechanics and Optics . In early 1968, he finished second in the semifinals of the Burewestnik championship and thus fulfilled the norm of a national champion . In the Leningrad City Championship in 1969, which was held as the quarter-finals of the Soviet championship , he shared second place with three other players. He then took part in the semifinals of the USSR Championship in Barnaul in 1969 and was seventh behind Vladimir Antozhin . For his game against Anatoly Wolowitsch he received the beauty prize. In late 1969 he reached second place with the selection of his hometown at the Soviet team championship in Grozny . In the IV. USSR Championship for Students in 1970 he came in sixth place with 7.5 points out of 15. In the early 1970s he was one of the presenters of the program Schachmaty the local television.

In 1973 Radashkovich emigrated to Israel and played in the international tournament in Netanya that same year .
