from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Itogi ( Russian Итоги ) is a Russian weekly magazine that has been published in Moscow since 1999 . It is published by Sem dnei publishing house, which is part of the Gazprom-Media media holding company . According to their own statements, the circulation is 85,000; Itogi is 144 pages long.

history

The A4 format sheet was designed based on the model of American news magazines such as Newsweek , the illustration with high-quality color photographs is part of the concept. From its inception in 1996, Itogi has used the Newsweek logo and materials for many years. Itogi was seen as one of the rare examples of investigative journalism in Russia in the 1990s, with reports from the Chechnya war and background reports on corruption. Itogi was initially part of Vladimir Gussinski's media empire , which was taken over by the state-owned Gazprom in 2001. This led to the departure of most editors and journalists; Newsweek then terminated its cooperation with Itogi and was independently on the market from 2004 to October 2010 with a Russian edition of Russki Newsweek published by Axel Springer Verlag .

distribution

Itogi is mainly sold in Moscow and the Moscow region, as well as the larger cities of Russia. It is also on sale in other European countries, the countries of the CIS and in the USA.
