Ivan Kitanović (born December 16, 1976 in Kruševac , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian double bass player .

Kitanović is active as a soloist and chamber musician in Austria and abroad:
- 1995/98 solo double bass player with the Belgrade Strings
- 1999/2000 Graz Symphony Orchestra
- 2000/01 participation in the Vienna Symphony Orchestra , the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra and the stage orchestra of the Vienna State Opera
- 2002 Wiener Symphoniker, double bass tutti
- 2003 Wiener Symphoniker, 1st solo double bass player
