Ivana Lalovic

Ivana Lalovic (born September 5, 1982 in Sarajevo , Yugoslavia ) is a Swiss - Swedish director . Her short film I don't dream in German (2008) was shown at the 65th Venice International Film Festival .

Life

Ivana Lalovic studied film at the Zurich University of the Arts , where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts . She made several short films, with her graduation film I don't dream in German premiering at the Venice International Film Festival . She continued her master’s degree at the Zurich University of the Arts. Her graduation film Little Fighters premiered at the International Short Film Festival in Winterthur . Her debut feature film Sitting next to Zoe was shown at the Rome Film Festival .

Ivana Lalovic lives and works in Zurich and Stockholm .
