Ivanna Lie

Ivanna Lie Ing Hoa (born March 7, 1960 in Bandung ) is a former Indonesian badminton player . She was runner-up in 1978 and 1981 with the Indonesian women's team.

Career

In the 1978 Uber Cup final , the Indonesian team faced Japan once again and lost 5-2. Ivanna Lie was defeated in this final in the singles Saori Kondō with 3:11 and 3:11. In 1981 Indonesia lost to Japan again in the final, with Lie remaining without a win in both singles. She lost Theresia against Saori Kondo and Yoshiko Yonekura in three sets each.

In the individual disciplines, she was first in mixed with Christian Hadinata at the Asian Games in 1982 . At the Badminton World Cup in 1980 , she won silver behind compatriot Verawaty . In 1983 she won gold at the Southeast Asian Games in women's singles.
