Christian Hadinata
Christian Hadinata (born December 11, 1949 in Purwokerto , Jawa Tengah , formerly known as Tjhie Beng Goat ) is a former Indonesian badminton player from the PB Djarum . Christian Hadinata's and Rudy Hartono's wives, Yoke Anwar and Jane Anwar, are sisters.
Career
Christian Hadinata was one of the most important doubles players in this sport in the 1970s. In 1974 Hadinata took second place at the Asian Games with Ade Chandra in men's doubles. In 1972 and 1973 he won the All England , the then unofficial world championships , also in doubles with Ade Chandra.
In 1973 and 1976 he won the Thomas Cup with the Indonesian team . At the 1972 Olympics, where badminton was played as a demonstration sport, he won the final with Ade Chandra against Ng Boon Bee and Punch Gunalan in three sets. In 1977 he was runner-up with Chandra at the 1st Badminton World Cup, behind his compatriots Tjun Tjun and Johan Wahjudi . In 1980 he made it to the top, both in doubles and mixed.
