Lius Pongoh
Lius Pongoh (born December 3, 1960 in Jakarta ) is a former badminton player from Indonesia .
Career
At the beginning of his career, Lius Pongoh won bronze at the 1980 World Championships in men's singles. A year later he won the Swedish Open , also in singles. In 1982 he won doubles there with Christian Hadinata , with whom he also won the US Open in 1988. At the Badminton World Cup in 1989 he was eliminated in the men's singles in the round of 16. In 1982 and 1986 he was runner-up in the Thomas Cup with the team .
