Iveta Bartošová

Iveta Bartošová (born April 8, 1966 in Čeladná ; † April 29, 2014 in Prague ) was a Czech pop music singer who was awarded the Zlatý slavík in 1986, 1990 and 1991 .

From 1987 to 1989 and 1999 to 2000, she took second place in the pop singer category. She won the TýTý television poll several times . The Czech Academy of Pop Music nominated her twice for the “Music Prize of the Year”.

Occasionally she also appeared as a film actress, for example in Svatba upírů ( The Vampire Wedding , 1993) at the side of Rudolf Hrušínský the youngest or in Poslední výkřik ( A Killer in Prague , 2012).

Her sister Ivana was also a singer and was known by the stage name "Viana".

Iveta Bartošová committed on 29 April 2014 in Prague- Uhříněves suicide .
