Ivo Trajkov

Ivo Trajkov (born June 27, 1965 in Skopje , SR Macedonia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a North Macedonian director and writer .

Life

Ivo Trajkov graduated from the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague and then decided to start his career in the Czech Republic. He wrote scripts and produced films in a wide variety of genres: comedy, docudrama, period film and experimental film. Ivo Trajkov heads the Post Production Department at FAMU.

He became internationally known for the film The Day when Stalin's Pants Disappeared (2004). His production won a total of five awards at the Valencia Film Festival , including best film and best camera.

Ivo Trajkov is married to Verica Nedeska. The couple has one child.
