Ivan Mikhailov (boxer)

Ivan Michailow ( Bulgarian Иван Михайлов ; born December 25, 1944 in Sliven ) is a former Bulgarian boxer .

Mikhailov won the bronze medal at the European Championships in 1967 . At the Olympic Games in 1968 he reached the semi-finals after victories over Jan Wadas, Poland (4: 1), Nils Dag Stroemme, Norway (5: 0), and Seyfi Tatar , Turkey (5: 0), which he beat Albert Robinson , USA (4-1), lost and won an Olympic bronze medal.

After another bronze medal at the European Championships in 1969 and the unsuccessful participation in the 1972 Olympic Games , Mikhailov ended his career.
