Seyfi Tatar (born May 26, 1948 in Sivas ) is a former Turkish boxer .
Career
Tatar won several Turkish championships. He won the Balkan Championships in 1967 in Istanbul , 1969 in Galați , 1970 in Varna , 1971 in Podgorica and 1973 in Athens . He is also a silver medalist at the European Championships in Rome in 1967 and in Bucharest in 1969 as well as the Mediterranean Games in Tunis in 1967 and in Izmir in 1971 .
At the Olympic Games in 1968 he reached the quarter-finals, where he was eliminated by Ivan Mikhailov .
