Career
Ivan Neprjajew began his active career in 2000 with the Russian first division club Lokomotive Yaroslavl . In the 2000 NHL Entry Draft , the Washington Capitals selected him in the fifth round in 163rd place, for which he never played.
In 2002 and 2003 he was Russian champion with Yaroslavl . In addition, he and his team took second place at the IIHF Continental Cup 2002/03 . After this success, Neprjajew moved after eight seasons in his native city to HK Dynamo Moscow , for which he played in the Continental Hockey League until 2010 .
He spent the 2010/11 season at Atlant Mytishchi after HK Dynamo Moscow merged with HK MWD Balaschicha in the summer of 2010 . With Atlant he reached the playoff finals of the KHL. After this success, Neprjajew was signed by SKA Saint Petersburg for two years in June 2011 . After collecting 29 scorer points in the 2011/12 season, he only got 9 scorer points from 52 games in the following season.
