Iwanna Orestivna Klympusch-Zynzadze ( Ukrainian Іванна Орестівна Климпуш-Цинцадзе ; born July 5, 1972 in Kiev , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian politician. She was Vice Prime Minister and Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine from April 14, 2016 to August 29, 2019 .

Life

Klympusch-Zynzadze studied from 1989 to 1994 at the Pedagogical Institute in Kiev and from 1994 to 1998 speech therapy at the National Taras Shevchenko University of Kiev . She also studied International Relations at the Harvard Summer School in 1992 . University and in 1993/94 at Montana State University International Law. She then worked as an analyst and project manager for non-governmental organizations . Between 2002 and 2007 she was a correspondent for the Ukrainian offices of the BBC in Washington and Tbilisi .

Klympusch-Zynzadze has been a member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc since November 2014 and was elected a member of the Verkhovna Rada in the 2014 parliamentary election. After the cabinet reshuffle on April 14, 2016, she became Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine in the Hroysman cabinet , and remained so until the cabinet closed on August 29, 2019.
