Iwao Yamane ( Japanese 山根 巌 , Yamane Iwao ; born July 31, 1976 in Hiroshima Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Yamane learned to play soccer on the school team at Hiroshima Minami High School . He signed his first contract with Sanfrecce Hiroshima in 1995 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club, he completed 37 first division games. In November 1998 he moved to the second division club Oita Trinity (today: Oita Trinita). In 2002 he became champions of the J2 League with the club . For the club he completed 121 games. In 2003 he moved to league rivals Kawasaki Frontale . In 2004 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 47 games. In 2006 he moved to the second division Kashiwa Reysol . In 2006 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. In 2008 he reached the final of the Kaiser Cup . For the club he completed 93 games. In 2010 he moved to the third division branches Kanazawa . For the club he completed 44 games. At the end of 2011 he ended his career as a football player.
