Izabela Śliwa (born December 11, 1990 in Krakow ) is a Polish volleyball player .

Career

Śliwa started her career at Wisła Krakow . She took part in the 2009 World Cup with the Polish national junior team. In the same year the Libera moved to Trefl Sopot . There she played one season with her mother. In 2011 Śliwa went to KS Piecobiogaz Murowana Goślina . In the 2012/13 season she was under contract with Chemik Police . In 2013, Libera was signed by the German Bundesliga club VT Aurubis Hamburg . With Hamburg she played in the European Challenge Cup and reached the third round. In the Bundesliga season , however, the club lost all games. 2014 Śliwa moved within the league to 1. VC Wiesbaden . In 2015 she returned to her home country to the first division club BPS Fakro Muszyna .

family

Izabela Śliwa is the daughter of the Polish volleyball player Magdalena Śliwa , who became European champion in 2003 and 2005. Izabela's father Stanislaw works as a football coach at Garbarnia Kraków .
