Izumi Matsumoto

Izumi Matsumoto ( Japanese ま つ も と 泉 , Matsumoto Izumi ; * October 13, 1958 in Toyama Prefecture , Japan ) is the stage name of the Japanese mangaka Kazuya Terashima ( 寺 嶋 一 弥 , Terashima Kazuya ).

His career began in 1982 when he published his manga Milk Report ( ミ ル ク ☆ レ ポ ー ト ) in Fresh Jump magazine. The real success came in 1984 when he published his most successful work, Kimagure Orange Road , in the same magazine .

Kazushi Hagiwara worked with him as an assistant.
