history
Jäger 90 was founded in 2005 by Thoralf Dietrich , who is both the idea generator and the vocal voice of the project. Musical partner was Stev Andres from the beginning until 2009. From then on, Vigo Stahlmann replaced him after Stev had canceled his participation in a Sweden tour shortly before. Vigo Stahlmann stepped in for Stev at short notice and after the end of the tour Stev announced his complete exit. On March 25, 2015, the band officially announced that Vigo Stahlmann had left the band for private reasons. As his successor, Marcel Lüke, who is also active as a co-founder at Second Youth and as a permanent drummer at Combat Company and Tension Control , took over the role as drummer.
Jäger 90 has released five albums so far. The two albums called Muscles & Kisses (released December 26, 2007) and Drischne Skasal (released September 14, 2009) were released on the Electric Tremor Dessau label . On August 13th, 2011 Jäger 90 released their latest album Meat Makes Evil on Out of Line . They are also featured on various samplers. For example in 2006, 2008 and 2009 on the Cold Hands Seduction of the Sonic Seducer .
The band performed at various festivals, such as the WGT 2008, the Amphi Festival 2009, the 7th Electro Attack Festival , the Festival of Darkness 2010 and the family reunion 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2013 in Sandersleben. They were also part of the line-up at the Electronic Dreamz Festival 2010.
style
The band is musically located in the field of electronic music and can be assigned to the style of electronic body music . Jäger 90 is musically based on the genre-defining pioneer project German American Friendship .
Jäger 90 uses sequencers, synthesizers and percussion elements to generate the sound . This is also the case with live performances, where neither computers nor arpeggiators are used, but analog sequencers are still used.
