Jöllenbeck was first mentioned in a document as Jolenbeke in 993 . The predecessor of today's Simeon Church in Jöllenbeck was inaugurated in 1035 by Minden Bishop Sigebert . The Cologne-Minden Railway has been running through Jöllenbeck since 1847 .
