Jörg Borrmann

Jörg Borrmann (* 1975 ) is a German magician and illusionist .

Life

Jörg Borrmann, inspired by his idol Houdini , started doing magic when he was eight. In the 1980s he took part in all national youth competitions and received various prizes and awards, including the German Young Talent Award in 1988. At the beginning of the 1990s he took part in the international magic championships in Berlin . From 1995 Borrmann worked as an amateur magician and began to expand his versatile program from table magic to live stage shows and moderation. In 1992 Borrmann became a member of the oldest German magicians' association, the Magic Circle of Germany founded in Hamburg in 1912 .

Borrmann has been working professionally since 2000. He performed together with other established magicians, for example with Peter Kersten . In addition to his actual work as a magician, magician and moderator , he also works as a lecturer in magic and trains company employees at business seminars.

He has written several articles for the magazine Magische Welt .

In 2016 Borrmann founded a magic theater in Hamburg under the name Wunderkontor , in which he performs weekly.
