Jörg Bruges (born March 6, 1960 in Lübeck ) is a former German volleyball player . He is volleyball player of the year 1986.
Jörg Brügge played for Bundesliga club Hamburger SV in the early 1980s , where he became German champion in 1985 . He then moved to league competitor VBC Paderborn , with whom he was relegated to the second Bundesliga in 1987 under coach Zbigniew Jasiukiewicz , but rose again immediately in 1988. As in the national team, Bruges was the captain of the VBC. In 1989 he left Paderborn and went to Bonn. Here he worked in various teams and various divisions to this day as a player and coach at SSF Fortuna Bonn .
Jörg Bruges was 150 times German national player . In 1986 he was voted volleyball player of the year .
