from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jörg Hasse (born August 9, 1929 ) is a German physicist .

Hasse received his doctorate in 1959 in Göttingen and completed his habilitation in Karlsruhe in 1971, where he was also professor at the Physics Institute of the University of Fridericiana from 1975 to 1994 . There he researched the superconductivity of alloys and amorphous metals. In particular, he investigated their reflection and transmission behavior in the microwave range in order to gain information about the strength of the electron-phonon coupling of these superconductors.
