Jörg Henke (born June 23, 1961 in Apolda ) is a German politician ( AfD ) and has been a member of the Thuringian state parliament since 2014 .

Life and work

Henke completed an apprenticeship as a bricklayer . Since an accident at work in 2008, he is unable to work and is a private pension .

politics

In the state elections in 2014 , he was elected to the state parliament via the state list of the AfD Thuringia . He also works on a voluntary basis as a council member of Crossen an der Elster .

He is a signatory of the Erfurt resolution .

Henke was first alderman in Crossen and thus deputy to the mayor. Because of his participation in a readership of the Islamophobic and right-wing populist blog PI-News , he came under fire. In addition, he was accused of neglecting his work in the municipal council in favor of his simultaneous involvement in the state parliament. The local council then voted him out as first alderman in March 2017. Henke is a board member of the AfD district association Gera-Jena-Saale-Holzland-Kreis.

Since the beginning of 2016 he has been a member of the NSU investigation committee in Thuringia .
