Jörg Huber
Jörg Huber was a late Gothic sculptor and carver who probably came from Passau . In 1495 at the latest he came to Kraków , where he initially worked for the painter Lucas (Molner), who died that year, and was granted citizenship in 1496. In 1503 he was the elder of the painters' guild. As a sculptor, he probably worked often with Veit Stoss and his son Stanislaus Stoss . Huber's activity for the Kriechbaum workshop in Passau is also being discussed. Eventually he closed his workshop in Krakow and left the city for an unknown destination. Huber was last recorded in 1509.
